Since 1998 the most colourful event in the world was happening in Carinthia, the wonderful south of Austria. The festival has a very long tradition and represents the modern bodypainting art movement. Artists from 50 nations participated in this years 18th edition of the World Bodypainting Festival - the championships for bodypainters in various categories such as 'Brush and Sponge', 'Airbrush' and 'Special Effects'. The artists had to visually interpret two themes, 'Games People play' and 'Surrealism - reshape your reality'. Visitors, artists and spectators alike were stunned by all of the colorful results and also greatly entertained by lots of performances on stage.
